Are looking for productions/directors for 2025
If you would like to offer a play or pantomime please email the following to: submissions@debenplayers.net
1. Name of the play/pantomime and author.
2. Synopsis of the plot.
3. List of characters.
Submit for:
May 2025 – Play (submit by 31st March 2024)
September 2025 – Play (submit by 30th June 2024)
December 2025 – Pantomime (submit by 31st August 2024)
This can be an original work or it can be a purchased script (for which the society will pay the licence fees if accepted).
You must be willing to direct or have someone who will direct.
Submissions for a September production will normally not require much set or present complex technical challenges – such productions are normally considered for the May slot.
If submitting a script for the December slot, please note the Deben Players have a reputation for traditional family pantomimes and submissions should fit this style.
