Co-Op Juniors Bring Rent – Schools Edition To The New Wolsey Theatre

Following their sell-out run of Les Misérables last summer, Co-op Juniors Theatre Company return to the New Wolsey Theatre with the iconic musical RENT. Set in the East Village of New York City it is a powerful story about falling in love, finding your voice, and living for today.

It is loosely based on Puccini’s La Boheme, and follows a year in the life of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York’s Lower East Side. How these young bohemians hope, struggle and triumph provides the narrative thread to this ground-breaking musical, reminding us all to measure our lives in love.

Featuring iconic musical theatre hits such as Seasons of Love, Take Me or Leave Me, and La Vie Bohème, Rent – School Edition is packed with unforgettable songs that have inspired generations and continue to resonate with audiences today.
