The Gallery Players in Ipswich will be presenting the regional premiere of the musical Fun Home, winner of five Tony awards and hailed as one of the most ground breaking musicals on Broadway ever!
Fun Home is a refreshingly honest musical about seeing your parents through grown up eyes.
Looking back on her complex relationship with her father, Alison is forced to confront long-hidden family secrets. She dives deep into her past to tell the story of the volatile, brilliant, one-of-a-kind man whose temperament and secrets defined her childhood and finds that they had more in common than she ever knew.
Age recommendation: 12+ Please be advised that Fun Home contains references to suicide, mental health, strong language and themes of an adult nature.
