Red Rose Chain Theatre Company are kicking off 2025 with a brand new play Esh and the Moon and the Stars from their ground-breaking inclusive company, the Gold Chainers.
The Gold Chainers is Red Rose Chain’s inspiring community company for young adults with disabilities who last wowed audiences with their incredible production of The Nightingale back in 2023. This production promises to be even bigger in its ambition and spectacle, with incredible music, projections and even a giant dragon!
It’s the day of King Merriweather’s coronation in the Kingdom of the Sky…but all is not as it seems! Merriweather’s evil siblings have other ideas and head to the Kingdom of the Earth to plan a revolt! But the Earth is ruled by an evil queen and filled with darkness! Only the wisest one they know can save the day…Esh the Hedgehog!
