TPTC Present Covenant

Hungover and confused, Bonnie can no longer bury the feeling that something is wrong. Last night is more than a blur, and her best friends refuse to fill in the gaps. As the hangover spirals into
full-blown crisis, Rachel and Gen do whatever they can to protect Bonnie, even if it goes against everything they believe in.

The world of ‘COVENANT’ takes real-life legislation and runs it
all the way to the extreme. Bonnie has done something bad, something she cannot seem to remember, and yet no-one will tell her what happened last night. Her friends know the truth, and it’s time they coughed up. How far would you go to protect your friend? To save them from a life they never chose?

COVENANT explores how far women will go to protect each
other – even from ourselves.

TPTC is thrilled to announce a performance of Covenant at The Seckford Theatre, Woodbridge on 1st August before taking the show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival after an extremely successful run in 2023. This is a pay what you feel it is worth performance – suggested donation £5 – and suitable for 16+.

Turning Point Theatre Company is a team of three. Isabelle and Laura are cofounders, finding their way to each other through a monologue competition at university. Alex is their producer, level-headed and wise beyond her years, she has been steadfast throughout TPTC’s growth. Some of us recently graduated,
others still studying, but we’re big girls now, doing this all on our own with no external funding. We represent the politically-resistant, original spirit of the festival and are ready to make our voices heard as a queer, women-led team.
