Eastern Angles unveil New Logo and Youth Theatres.

Eastern Angles Theatre Company have unveiled their new logo and company rebrand.

Speaking about the new logo, Eastern Angles Artistic Director and CEO Jake Smith said: “I’m delighted to unveil our new branding and mark an exciting chapter in Eastern Angles history. This new branding reinforces our commitment to place based theatre making, community engagement and participation and touring. It brings together all facets of our work, a thriving community arts centre and the regional touring theatre company for the East that has been blazing a trail for over 40 years. “

They have also announced three new youth theatres called, New Angles, which is a free programme open to young people aged 9-18 from across Ipswich. Weekly theatre workshops at the Eastern Angles Centre will be a place for participants to learn performance skills, develop confidence, and meet new friends. Split into three age groups, the first sessions take place during the week commencing Monday 22nd April.

Jake Smith said: ” I’m also thrilled to announce the creation
of three new Youth Theatres, New Angles, which will be completely free for participants. Eastern Angles has always been fiercely regional and we look forward to supporting a new
generation of future artists to tell their story and take pride in the place they are from.”

New Angles Youth Theatre has received funding from Ipswich Borough Council and £30,000 from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
