And then on Monday 25th March– Wed 27th March and then Tues 2nd April – Thurs 4th April 7.30pm BLACK & WHITE PRODUCTIONS present their latest drama PAT & RON – WRITERS IN CRIME by Suzanne Hawkes

It tells the story of the relationship between writers Patricia Highsmith (The Talented Mr Ripley) and  Ronald Blyth (Akenfield) during  1964/65  when Pat was working on a new novel set in Suffolk, including new songs especially written for this production.

In 1964 Patricia Highsmith, famous for writing Strangers on a Train and The Talented Mr Ripley, moved to England and bought a cottage in Earl Soham, intending to base her next novel in Suffolk.
There she met author Ronald Blyth, who counted amongst his friends Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears, working on his new novel Akenfield.
Two writers – two imaginations – anything could happen!
