Kin will open at the National’s Lyttleton Theatre for a limited run from 12-27 January 2024.
Gecko Theatre, based in Ipswich, have been developing their show Kin for many years, and it has been described as a show like no other, an ‘enchanting sensory assault’, a ‘visceral show of epic proportions’.
As a young child in 1932, Leah embarked on an epic journey from Yemen to Palestine. Ninety years later her grandson, Gecko’s Artistic Director Amit Lahav, imagines the voyage her family made to escape persecution and build a better life.
