Don’t wear your best clothes to go and see the Splashtest Dummies because you’ll more than likely get wet. They’ll either squirt with their water pistols or you’ll be crying laughing.
This energetic family show is packed with comedy, acrobatics, juggling and tricks. We marvelled at the strength of the three performers as they lifted, twisted, flipped and carried each other in weird and wonderful positions. We clapped enthusiastically at the complex juggling tricks and we laughed heartily at the daft humour.
There’s lots of audience participation, and by that I mean soaking, sniffing, hugging and general fooling about, so don’t sit near the front if you don’t want to get picked on!
It’s a great hour of theatre for young people full of childish humour mixed with some incredible skill and daring.
There are two more performances of Spashtest Dummies at the New Wolsey Theatre Thursday 26th October at 11.00 and 14.00
