How’s Your Father?

*****Opening tonight in Suffolk*****‘How’s Your Father?’ a free theatre show about men’s mental health and navigating fatherhood.

The show follows four men’s stories and their encounters with authority, and is a moving as well as funny piece of theatre with amazing music. It’s backed by research led by Dr Georgia Philip from the University of East Anglia as well as Dads Matter, Norfolk County Council’s support group for dads, and Norwich based charity Menscraft.

The show poses important questions on what it means to be a father, what challenges fathers can face and present, and why fatherhood matters for all of us. Audiences from the previous tour in 2021 described the show as thought-provoking: “a sensitive, skilful treatment of a complex topic”.

It will be performed at the Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds on Wednesday 18th October, Lowestoft Library on Thursday 19th October and Chantry Library in Ipswich on 2nd November. All shows start at 7:30pm and are free. There is no need to book tickets.
